University of Wisconsin Oshkosh
As a student that was very involved with extra-curricular activities, I was humbled by my experiences at the University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. Below is an overview of a few leadership positions I held while I was a full-time student.
Lead Marketing Intern
Reeve Memorial Union
Titan Gold Corps
University Speaker Series
"Well spoken nature and professional approach to leading had everyone excited and productive"
Being a freshman at UWO, David quickly became my role model! He developed a phenomenal atmosphere that included all members of our organization and brought out all of our strengths. His well spoken nature and professional approach to leading had everyone excited and productive in promoting events. I would recommend David for any challenge he wishes to pursue. As a Junior, he still remains my role model, and the experience he provided was essential in making me into the person I am today.

"Natural-born leader and is extremely knowledgeable about social media"
I have had the honor of working closely alongside David. Together, he and I started the UW Oshkosh Social Media Club. There is no doubt in my mind that without David the organization would have never began. David is a natural-born leader and is extremely knowledgeable about social media. I learned so much from him during the course of a year. I would highly recommend David to any organization.

"Strong presentation skills"
David participated in the Provost Summit on a presentation entitled, "Taking the Pulse of Students." His experiences as a current student were an invaluable addition to the presentation. David demonstrated an eagerness to assist in the project, knowledge of the current student make-up (knowledge gained through campus engagement), and strong presentation skills. I believe David would be an asset to any organization.

"Great at directing a committee of students with different skills"
David was the Chairperson of the University Speaker Series for 2 years while I was on the committee. As the chairperson he was great at directing a committee of students with different skills towards a common goal. He ran meetings in a way that accomplished all the items on the agenda in an effective manner while allowing the committee to share their input. He encouraged all the committee members to broaden their skills by working with other committee members on subjects they weren’t as skilled in. What I liked most about his leadership was that he allowed some freedom in the way we accomplished tasks. A large portion of the committee’s responsibilities pertained to promoting guest speakers, and he allowed us to promote in unconventional ways. However, he made sure to balance our creativity with tried and true advertising techniques, such as postering well traveled campus locations and engaging students at tabling events in the union.
